Caitlin Williams, M.S., LMFT
As a LMFT with more than 10 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with many people, just like you. During my academic experience, I worked with teens and children who were struggling to adjust to our world. My focus then shifted to working with women who suffered from all sorts of addictions. Most recently I have worked with families learning to cope with and support their child who is developmentally delayed – specifically ADHD and autism spectrum disorder. As I have grown in my career and become a mother, my focus has narrowed to the challenges of being a woman, a mother, and the primary care support of most families. My passion is nurturing the family unit through challenging times. Disruptions and life stressors, from inside and outside of the family circle, can be challenging, and very difficult to navigate. Such times lead us to a wide range of contradictory emotions. Most often we do not know how to explore these emotions on our own, and we fail in finding words to express ourselves. I am skilled at helping you ask the right questions, find your own answers and support your journey.
I work from a theoretical background of cognitive behavioral therapy. Within recent years I work on treating the whole person – mind, body and spirit – to strive to achieve balance,to set boundaries, and to take radical self-care. You are the only one of you there will ever be! My goal is to help you reach your best self.
