Licensed Psychologist and Professor
If you are looking for a change in life, whether big or small, Dr. Robert Pate would love to meet with you! He gets excited about helping his clients discover and maximize their “best self” through healing broken relationships and families, and overcoming traumatic experiences, depression, fears/anxiety, and addictions. His approach involves helping you understand what may be contributing to your concerns and working together to find solutions that fit your situation and culture. Calling a therapist can be intimidating, but he hopes you will take a moment (and maybe a deep breath) to call and see how he can help.
Dr. Pate’s approach to life and therapy is to seek balance, accept and work through difficulties as they come, and utilize support wherever it is found. During your sessions, you and Dr. Pate will work together to develop wellness strategies as you both address the challenges that led you to seek help.
With over 10 years of experience in mental health, Dr. Pate has provided therapy and assessment services for individuals, couples, families, and groups in many settings. In addition to providing direct services to clients, he trains other therapists through professional workshops and as a faculty member and Director of Clinical Training for the Doctor of Psychology program at California Baptist University.
